When I first started crocheting in 2016, I didn't have any specific materials or yarns in mind. In fact, I just used whatever yarn I could find lying around the house! I started out with a crochet hook and some leftover yarn from a school project, and began experimenting with different stitches and patterns.
After a certain time, I was able to create my first amigurumi who is that little mushroom above. But life can get busy, and it's not always easy to find time for the things we love. For a while, I had put my crocheting on the back burner, but in 2021, I've been able to carve out more time for myself, and I'm so happy to have rediscovered my love of crocheting.
The same year, I finally took the leap and started selling some of my designs. It's been an exciting journey, as I've experimented with different materials and techniques, and learned the ins and outs of running a small business. But despite the challenges, there's nothing quite like the feeling of seeing my designs come to life in the hands of happy fellow crocheters.
Whether you're just starting out or you're an experienced crocheter, I encourage you to keep exploring and experimenting with new designs. You never know where your creativity will take you! (And you never know the crochet friends you'll meet along the way ♡ )
